Hey, everyone!

As you may have noticed, the cartoons took a hiatus this week while Ian’s in Vegas, breaking down new IBD research as a patient reporter at the Crohn’s and Colitis Congress — go, Ian! (Check out his IG page to get a taste.)

We’ll be back to our usual format soon, but, on my end, today was a twofer because I had my IV drip and my shot. (Feel free to give a round of applause to my left arm.)

HELLRAISER behind-the-scenes photo of actor Doug Bradley as Pinhead. He's in full white face paint with his titular head full of pins, but he's clearly a work in progress: only one hand painted white, rest of his skin unpainted, loosely draped in a black bathrobe that drapes coyly off his shoulders, and holding a glass of water in his (painted) hand like it's a wineglass. The vibe is Real Housewives of the Hell Dimension — This is my left arm. (You’re welcome for not using any shots of the Needle Pit scene from Saw II.)

As they say, “shot, chaser,” so let’s start with the injection. (And, being real, I’m waiting until the sedatives are out of my system before I try to talk to you at any length.)
